Dinosaur

When I see a kids dinosaur movie, I'm always comparing it to the first couple of Land Before Times. Don't lie - you are, too. This one just didn't compare well. In Disney's defense, I think it was their first try at computer animations mixed with real landscapes (without Pixar being involved). 

The kid didn't seem too impressed either... In fact, I bet if I went and asked him now if he even remembers it he won't. 

Alley Cats Strike

It is time for another fun Disney Channel Original Movie - Alley Cats Strike! I remember watching this movie when it came out - so good. And now you look at the cast and it is mind-blowing. Yep! That's Penny from Big Bang Theory. Hah!

This movie was fun to watch because it brought a little popularity to bowling - which by the way, is so fun and it was my first date with the Mr. It also had a bit of a 50's vibe going on and I love seeing the retro clothes and music in a more modern environment. 

Of course we went bowling for our activity. It just so happens that our baseball team was having a banquet at the bowling alley so we were very excited to get to do this activity for free! 

No, that is not a fireball or special magic powers the kid possesses. Just a shiny yo-yo or something. 

Air Bud: World Pup

Back again with another Air Bud sequel. This time, he plays one of the kid's favorites, soccer. 

Buddy got a bit busy this time around and had some puppies. Big surprise - they get kidnapped! Another villain, another sport, another kidnapping. These movies are starting to get a bit predictable! This one was straight to video. 

I am sure you could take a wild guess - we were inspired to play soccer! The Kid seems to be enjoying each different sport, so that's nice. Honestly, though, we were at a birthday party with a pool when I tried to play soccer, so it lasted maybe 3 minutes. Oh, well.

An Extremely Goofy Movie

Today we watched a sequel to A Goofy Movie.

It didn't quite live up to the original but it was still funny. I liked the X-Games. I remember being on my bike and roller blades every day around the time this movie came out. Goofy is still a love-able nerdball. 

We were inspired to do some sweet wheelies and tricks of our own. The kid got a chance to ride the scooter he got for Christmas. 

102 Dalmatians

We have reached the end of the Dalmatians! 

There were some cute parts and I especially liked the parrot, but a lot of main characters from the first movie were missing, which bummed me out. 

We decided to take inspiration from the end of the movie where the dogs battle Cruella in a bakery. We made cupcakes! I think the boys liked the aftermath of this activity.
