This movie was aired on ABC and is about a famous singer who left her daughter for her career and one day she finds her again and helps her become a famous singer, too. There is a lot of drama.

Dadnapped

The other day we watched Emily Osment in Cyberbully and now we are watching her in Dadnapped, filmed 2 years earlier. This movie is a DCOM about a girl who wants to go on a vacation with her father who happens to be a famous author. He gets "dadnapped" by some fans and she has to save him. 

Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time

In Cinderella 3, we have more of a story. This one is all about what would happen if the slipper did fit one of Cinderella's stepsisters instead. 

I did enjoy this sequel and found the story to be a nice twist. 

Big Hero 6

I am so excited to talk about this movie! It is one of my favorites. This love-able, adorable, hilarious robot is my soulmate- I'm just sure of it! There are so many quotes from this movie that my family and I just find ourselves repeating over and over. If you haven't watched this one, you definitely should! 

As you can see from our scores, this is one we all can agree on watching again and again together. 

Angels in the Endzone

This week we watched the sequel to Angels in the Outfield - Angels in the Endzone. I don't think either of my boys were really entertained, but this cast was pretty interesting! David Gallagher and Matthew Lawrence! Oh, to be a pre-teen reading those teen magazines again. 

The kid doesn't even remember watching this one. It was predictable and a bit boring, but we got through it. Definitely not comparable to the original.

We went to the local high school to see them play football. They lost, but what are you going to do? It's not like we have any angels out there helping our team. The kid had a blast since it was his first football game ever. 

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I never read the book, but boy do I love this movie!! 

This movie came out last year and I didn't see it until now. I loved it! There is humor for the kids and humor for the adults. I thought it was clever and just so silly. I love a good laugh.

The movie is loosely based off a book, and in the movie there is a very funny scene where Dick Van Dyke is reading a book. The kid is about to start kindergarten this September and is learning how to read some Disney stories to get ready for school.
