There were a lot of movies that I watched alone since my boys are busy, but I still loved (almost) every minute of this challenge!

Here are my favorites of this year.

Favorite Live Action Movie: It comes down to Cinderella and Cool Runnings! I'm going to have to go with Cinderella
Favorite Animated Movie: It's between Cinderella (my childhood favorite), Cars, Bolt, and Big Hero 6. Winner is Big Hero 6. I just adore this movie and everything about it.
Favorite Disney Channel Movie: Brink
Favorite Sequel: Cinderella 3
Least likely to ever watch again: 1 movie actually had half of a star, the lowest rating I ever gave! That means Don't Look Under the Bed, I will not be watching you ever again!

2016 was a roller coaster of a year. I know 2017 has a lot to bring in the movie world and I'm excited to get some more of these movies watched and rated! I will be switching up my layout again and seeing what works best for the challenge. Change is good!  I'm going to keep on going in alphabetical order because I love the variety it brings.

Duck Tales: the Movie

Duck Tales was a great TV show. I loved the movie, too! (even have the updated video game!)

This movie is entertaining. I think kids today would still like it and the show.

Down the Long Hills

Down the Long Hills is a made for TV movie that was on ABC. It tells the story of two young little kids who have to continue on their trail West after their wagons and campgrounds are attacked.

Mostly I thought the movie was sad. The little girl doesn't realize most of the movie that her mom was killed. I was excited when I realized the boy was the same boy from Honey, I shrunk the Kids though!

Doug's First Movie

Back in the day, when ABC had "One Saturday Morning" cartoons, they bought Doug from Nickelodeon, made him a little older in high school, and progressed his story a little. Then Nickelodeon came out with their Rugrats movies so Disney tried to do the same with Doug.

Every early 90's kid I know loved watching Doug Funny get into shenanigans with Skeeter, Roger, Patti, Porkchop, and the gang.

Double Teamed

Time for a sports-themed DCOM! And possibly the only time Disney used two different actresses to play identical twins instead of using the split screen method!

I love this movie because I like basketball, I think twins are neat, and it came out when I was still interested in DCOMs as a teen.

Double Switch

This is a Disney Television Movie that involves one of Disney's favorite techniques, screen splitting! They could do this a hundred more times I still love to see it. This particular movie has identical strangers, not twins. I love the identical strangers - Lizzie Maguire has one, the Mickey version of Prince and the Pauper, and that model one with Justin Timberlake in it...

I would watch this one again. It came out the year I was born and is so typical late 80's. I loved it.

Double Platinum

This movie was aired on ABC and is about a famous singer who left her daughter for her career and one day she finds her again and helps her become a famous singer, too. There is a lot of drama.

Don't Look Under the Bed

This is a Disney Channel Original Movie that has a bit of a Halloween feel to it since it is about a boogey man and imaginary friends.

I did not like this movie and it took me at least 4 tries to actually get through the whole thing. It apparently has some strong fans, though.
