Earth

Next up is a Disney Nature film called Earth. I just love these Disney Nature films!! I didn't think I would be into documentaries as much as I am finding with these ones. They are well done.

Brother Bear 2

The sequel to Brother Bear is next. I didn't realize how many stars voiced the characters in this one. Mandy Moore voices the main female Nita and I was surprised at how many Disney projects she's done, from Princess Diaries to Tangled to Kingdom Hearts. Great, now her first single is stuck in my head. Anyway, on to our thoughts!

The ending was a bit predictable but very sweet. I enjoyed it anyway!

Brother Bear

Next up is a movie called Brother Bear. This one came out when I was a teenager too cool for new Disney movies, so this was my first time seeing it! Here's what we thought.

Overall I liked the storyline, and I thought the little bear cub was super cute. Oh, and the moose brothers! Hilarious! The Kid seemed to like the movie when we watched it, but has now completely forgotten what it was all about. 

Brave

Time for a fired-up princess with an attitude! We watched the Disney Pixar's Brave. 

I enjoy this movie but it does start out pretty slow and dull. I think that is what made the boys a bit too antsy to enjoy the rest of it. Frank didn't seem to think Merida was good enough to be included in the Disney Princess line up. I think she is pretty bad ass and spunky. I just love her accent. The kid liked the "feast your eyes" parts. Anything that has to do with a butt is okay in his book. 

Bears

Next up is another Disney Nature movie, Bears. I loved this film! I was surprised but they did it so well. I learn a lot from these movies and this is no exception. So far I am loving all of the Disney Nature films!

In this movie we follow a female bear after she has given birth to her cubs. She has to find them food and keep them safe from any other bears that might pose a threat, as well as this crazy wolf who is always stalking her family. It's amazing to see how much they have to go through just to survive.
