Cloud 9

It is time for a fairly recent DCOM! This one has Dove Cameron in it and I am just loving her these days - so is my son! He didn't watch this one with me but I'm certain he will want to watch it soon when the snow starts coming.

I tend to like the winter sports movies from Disney. They are exciting. This one was good, as far as the Disney Channel Original Movies go.

Cinderella (Live Action)

In the past few years, Disney has been taking their animated movies and re-telling them as live action movies. I personally love how they have been turning out. They almost feel like a more mature story - while I loved Cinderella the animation when I was a child, I connect with the live action version now. Nostalgia is a big thing with us nearly 30 year olds right now and we are constantly revisiting different things we loved in our youth so this is right up my alley.

We loved it and we simply cannot wait until next year when the Beauty and the Beast Live Action comes out. Squee!

Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time

In Cinderella 3, we have more of a story. This one is all about what would happen if the slipper did fit one of Cinderella's stepsisters instead.

I did enjoy this sequel and found the story to be a nice twist.

Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True

Next up is the first sequel to Cinderella, which is basically another one of those short story compilations similar to what they did for Atlantis and Cars and Beauty and the Beast in some of their sequels.

For being such a big Cinderella fan, I wasn't impressed with this. The stories didn't flow or make much sense with the overall fairy tale.

Cinderella

Get ready because it is time for my childhood favorite - Cinderella! I loved this movie as a kid and would watch it over and over and over. The songs were upbeat and there was magic and shoes and funny mice. So fun!

This is a classic and I enjoyed introducing it to my son. He thought the mice were hilarious.

Christmas in Boston

The Boys are still not on board with watching Christmas movies with me so early, so I'm alone again on this 25 Days of Christmas movie from ABC Family. This time it is Christmas in Boston. A movie about a couple of big fat liars!

6th grade pen pals continue writing to each other well into adulthood and never meet before now. They were sharing pictures of their good looking friends instead of themselves and so when they get ready to meet each other they have to have their friends fill in for them. Sparks do not fly as expected. Be yourself. If this was today (you know, ten years later) there would be no way that they could pull this off because it is way too easy to look someone up online.

Christmas Do-Over

Yet another 25 Days of Christmas movie - Christmas Do-Over. This one had a similar storyline of "Groundhog's Day" where you re-live the same day over and over until it is the perfect day.

I wasn't a big fan. There are plenty of other Christmas TV Movies to watch if you're bored.
