There are so many domesticated cats in Disney's World! The next movie is about a cheetah in Africa named Duma that lived with some American scientists and their kids.
The beginning reminded me a lot of A Far Off Place, with the setting in Africa and a couple of American kids living there temporarily and there were poachers. But this one isn't nearly as scary. The kids set their cheetah free to be wild and hunt but it is kidnapped to be raced against greyhounds. The kids go on an adventure to save the cheetah.
